|Ken Trivette serves as the president and director of Native American Baptist Missions. He attended Tennessee Temple Bible School (1974-1977) and pastored Churches in Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. In 2008, he resigned from the Temple Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he had served for 22 years to work with Native Americans. Along with his role as president and director, he and his wife Sherry, serve on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Ken and Sherry are natives of Boone, North Carolina.|

THE PINE RIDGE RESERVATION
Located in South Dakota, the Pine Ridge Reservation is the home of more than 28,000 Oglala Sioux. Pine Ridge was established in 1889 in the southwest corner of South Dakota on the Nebraska border. Today it consists of 3,468.86 sq mi making it larger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined. The Reservation encompasses the entirety of Shannon County, the poorest county in the United States.
